Midwest Orthotics, and our affiliates, have developed several continuing education courses to educate our partners on concepts in the O&P field. This educational service is open to all local therapy groups/organizations. We offer a variety of topics to choose from and can adjust the length to fit your needs. The abbreviated versions can be presented over a lunch hour, and our more in-depth courses offer continuing education credits for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants.
There are a variety of course topics available, including:
Cranial Remolding – When is orthotic intervention necessary?
Pediatric Orthotics – An overview of low-tone and high-tone orthotic options
Development of Gait – Focuses on the “building blocks” of gait development
